In the boulevard of Donostia, producers and merchants met this weekend to bring out the gastronomic products of our land. Vegetables, jams, chocolate, ham, txakoli, cheese, sweets and an endless number of top quality products were on display before an audience captivated by the product, the good treatment and the atmosphere in the tent.
On the first day of the fair, the “committed to Km0” awards ceremony was held, with the aim of recognizing the work to promote the product and local gastronomy. This year the winners of the contest were: Mala Gissona in the Catering Establishments category; Hotel Arrizul Congress in Hotels; and Aitor Lasa in Commerce.
Naider’s team was helping to organize the event in collaboration with Fomento de San Sebastián. This collaboration also gave rise to the km0 catalog that includes the food that produce Aritz, Maider, Iñigo, Aitor, Oihane, etc. and that values their daily work, their work and effort to preserve traditions, the commitment to care for the land and their invaluable contribution in positioning the territory at the forefront of gastronomy with products from our environment.
