On 11 April, the online conference “Towards a circular economy in the food industry: The Waste Law as a driver for change” was organised by Oarsoaldea, Debegesa and Tolosaldea Garatzen and led by Iván de Torres and Aitor Mingo, NAIDER experts in circular and environmental transition processes.
During the conference, the concepts of Law 7/2022 on Waste and Contaminated Soils were discussed, the impact of extended producer responsibility and the reduction of plastic packaging in the food industry were analysed and prevention programmes were promoted.
