The 64th Udalsarea Technical Committee, the third and last of the year 2023, was held on Thursday 16 November at the Palacio Europa in Vitoria-Gasteiz.
During the committee, information was provided on the activity of the network in the last quarter and the next lines of work were presented. Among the main issues discussed, Udalsarea 2030, who holds the Technical Secretariat of the Network, summarised the progress of the activity of various working groups, the Cuadrilla of Laguardia Rioja Alavesa shared its experience in the management of bio-waste, and the situation of the 2023 subsidy order was discussed. In addition, the committee hosted a seminar on environmental legislative planning at European, state and autonomous community level, and the implications for local entities.
The meeting brought together more than 50 people, including technicians and managers from local councils, counties and entities such as EUDEL, EVE-Basque Energy Agency, HAZI Foundation, and IHOBE itself as the coordinating entity of the network and to which we provide technical support from NAIDER.
