The European Doctoral Network C-NEWTRAL has held its presentation session, an opportunity for the partners associated with the project, including NAIDER, to meet the 12 doctoral students who will participate in the project. As part of the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA) of the Horizon Europe programme, the Doctoral Network promotes cooperation between universities, research centres, companies and other socio-economic actors. In short, it allows doctoral students to gain professional experience in other sectors and disciplines, promoting knowledge transfer between universities and companies and applied innovation.

The C-NEWTRAL network aims to address the challenges cities face in achieving climate neutrality by providing interdisciplinary capacity to implement new solutions and assess their impact on different sectors of society. Coordinated by University College Dublin, the network also involves the University of Bologna, the University of Girona, the University of Heidelberg, the University of Helsinki and Queen’s University Belfast, as well as leading companies and institutions from across Europe.
