The NAIDER summer publication is now available to read. In an article titled ‘Europe at a Crossroads’, we explore the courageous responses emerging from cities, regions and communities as they prepare for the future. Amidst global uncertainty, political paralysis and democratic setbacks, transformative initiatives are emerging that reaffirm European values such as sustainability, cooperation, innovation and civic engagement.
We present analyses of the knowledge economy, climate planning and new urban models, alongside specific case studies from regions dedicated to fairer and more resilient development. This open look at the future is complemented by a review of the projects and initiatives that we have been working on at NAIDER during the second quarter of 2025.
