The Basque Government‘s Department of Science, Universities and Innovation is collaborating with Naider to establish and promote a Community of Practice on the Social Dissemination of Knowledge. This initiative is intended for individuals involved in the Basque Network of Science, Technology and Innovation (RVCTI).
At a time when the dissemination of science and knowledge is becoming a strategic dimension within the Basque science and innovation ecosystem, this Community of Practice aims to strengthen the connection between knowledge and society. The initiative will create a collaborative space for professionals responsible for scientific communication and dissemination to share experiences and good practices, enabling the community to overcome the main identified challenges.
At Naider, we provide technical assistance for the conceptualisation and implementation of the Community, facilitating a participatory and action-oriented process. Through three collaborative working sessions and specific interactive dynamics, we help define a shared roadmap that allows progress towards more effective models of knowledge dissemination.
The project is based on the recognition of the diversity of agents, approaches and capabilities that currently exist in the Basque Country, and the need to move towards greater coordination and cohesion in science communication strategies. The Community of Practice thus aims to be a stable tool for strengthening the social impact of research, technology and innovation in the region.
