Last week, we facilitated a working session as part of the project “Analysis of the vulnerability and risks to climate change of coastal and marine habitats of community and regional interest in the Basque Country, and proposal for an action plan.”
The session brought together experts from various fields related to marine ecosystems. Together, we reviewed the preliminary identification of the habitats to be analysed and the main impact chains affecting them. These aspects had previously been developed by the AZTI team, with whom we are collaborating on this project led by Ihobe.
The session provided an opportunity to refine the key elements of the analysis and to strengthen the technical foundations for the upcoming action plan. In the coming months, the process will continue with further joint work and validation sessions with the expert community.
