The ADVANCED CICLO project represents a step forward in the circularisation and decarbonisation of multisector industrial SMEs, building on the experience gained in the previous CICLO Project. Promoted by the business association ASLE, it is supported by the Basque Government – Ihobe through the Circular SME Programme, with the participation of five associated industrial companies: Izar Cutting Tools, Tornillería Deba, Heroslam, New Fepa and Tipeberri.

The initiative applies the ADVANCED CICLO methodology, developed and refined from the earlier project, to help companies integrate circular economy principles into their business strategies and operations. Each SME receives a circularity diagnosis that identifies its level of maturity in areas such as planning, eco-design, energy and material efficiency, collaboration and recycling. Based on this analysis, a practical roadmap is provided with tailored objectives and measures for each company.

Among the shared outcomes, a key milestone is the calculation and analysis of the carbon footprint, covering scopes 1 and 2, and an initial approximation of scope 3. This exercise, alongside other actions, enables companies to anticipate new regulatory and market demands, strengthening their competitiveness and resilience in an increasingly demanding context.

With ADVANCED CICLO, Txorierri and its business fabric are moving towards a more innovative and sustainable industrial model, aligned with the global challenges of circularity and decarbonisation.
