The Department of Environment and Hydraulic Works of the Provincial Council of Gipuzkoa has launched the 2019 call of subsidies for actions that promote sustainability and environmental improvement in the Territory.

It has three eligible lines:

  1. Waste and Circular Economy

  2. Energy efficiency and renewable energy

  3. Development of public policies to comply with the SDGs and Local Agenda 21

Recipient: town halls, associations, regional entities, associations and companies

Deadline: Applications can be submitted until March 26, 2019

OBJECT
Approve the 2019 call for subsidies for town halls, associations, regional entities, associations and companies that carry out actions that promote sustainability and environmental improvement in the Historical Territory of Gipuzkoa, which is attached as an annex (Annex IV) to this agreement.

ELIGIBLE ACTIONS AND BENEFICIARY ENTITIES
The first of the subsidy lines, aimed at town halls, associations, non-profit associations and companies, will be aimed at promoting the prevention, reuse, selective collection and recycling of household and commercial waste , as well as other actions that also promote the circular economy.
The second line of subsidy will be used to finance studies, plans and projects that, developed by town halls, autonomous municipal bodies, associations and commercial companies owned by entities belonging to the public sector at the municipal and regional level, have as their objective the promotion of both the use of renewable energy as well as energy saving and efficiency.
The third line of subsidy aims to finance the preparation of studies, plans and projects aimed at achieving the environmental goals included in the 2030 Sustainable Development Goals from the local scale, as well as the formulation and improvement of local Agendas 21 or other tools that give an integrated response to the challenges implied by sustainable development.
