The Department of Transport, Mobility and Territory Cohesion of the Provincial Council of Bizkaia has launched the 2019 call for subsidies for the development of urban planning instruments. The aid subsidizes the review of urban planning plans, and also the strategic environmental assessments associated with said plans.

OBJECT
The promotion of the general urban planning activity of the City Halls of the Historical Territories of Bizkaia with a population of less than 7,000 inhabitants, by financing the costs of preparing urban planning review instruments, which are addressed through an administrative service contract whose purpose is the adaptation of its general planning to Law 2/2006 on land and urban planning of the Basque Country as determined by its Second Transitory Provision.

BENEFICIARY ENTITIES
Bizkaia City Councils with a population of less than 7,000 inhabitants who have the obligation to adapt the general urban planning to Law 2/2006, of 30 of June, of Land and Urbanism of the Basque Country and that they do not concur in any of the prohibitive circumstances contained in section 2 of article 12 of the Foral Regulation 5/2005, of May 31, which regulates the general legal regime of the subsidies granted by the Foral Administration.

ELIGIBLE ACTIONS
a) Total or partial review of General Planning in order to adapt to Law 2/2006, of June 30, on land and urban planning in the Basque Country.

b) Complementary works and studies necessary for the elaboration of the above, especially the works for the strategic environmental evaluation, required in accordance with the Decree of the Department of the Environment, Territorial Planning, Agriculture and Fisheries 211/2012, of October 16 .
