The Basque Government’s Department of Science, Universities and Innovation will receive technical assistance from NAIDER in creating and developing a Community of Practice on the social dissemination of knowledge. This community will bring together communication and dissemination professionals from entities belonging to the Basque Science, Technology and Innovation Network (RVCTI), providing a space for collaboration and mutual learning.
At a time of growing concern about the relationship between science and society, the social dissemination of knowledge has become a strategic priority for the Basque science and innovation ecosystem. However, the diversity of actors, approaches and capacities within the RVCTI requires a move towards more structured, horizontal forms of collaboration among those responsible for communication.
The Community of Practice will facilitate the exchange of experiences, methodologies and best practices, with the aim of improving the social dissemination of knowledge. It will also strengthen the connection between research and society, making the impact of science, technology and innovation in Euskadi more accessible and relevant.
