On June 4 2024, we attended the “Waves of Change x Rencontre des Décideurs Greentech” forum in Biarritz for the second consecutive year. This event united startup founders, maritime industry professionals, investors, public administrators, and many others to promote economic and environmental transitions. Key topics included the decarbonization of ports and waste management, both crucial for coastal environments.

Our colleague Asier Segura represented Naider and presented our Cost-Benefit Analysis as a decision-making tool for coastal climate action. This methodology, which we are deploying in the European Project SCORE, evaluates the overall benefits versus costs of investing in nature-based solutions to address climate change risks. This time we will have the opportunity to present the methodology developed by NAIDER and used in the European Project. Cost-benefit analysis (CBA) provides a picture of the overall benefits versus costs of investing in nature-based solutions to climate change risks, thus facilitating decision-making in this type of project.
