Yesterday, Wednesday 14 February, we presented the main results of the Circularity Diagnoses carried out on the eight industrial SMEs participating in the first part of the CICLO project, within the SME CIRCULAR 2022 programme.
The conference, which took place at the FMD Carbide facilities in Basauri, in addition to the eight companies involved in the project, was attended by Ana Irazabal, Gorka Viteri and Iñigo Soto from ASLE, Sara Aguado from IHOBE, Irene García and Mirari Otero, Councillor and Head of Environment of Basauri Town Council respectively.
Iván de Torres and Haizea Aguirre from NAIDER presented the methodology of the Circular Business Profile tool in the first part of the session. This, by analysing seven areas and 158 parameters directly and indirectly related to the circular economy, calculates the circular maturity profile for each SME (initial, junior, intermediate, advanced, leader). In turn, the main conclusions drawn from the reports were presented. These were used to introduce a preliminary Roadmap with actions along various lines that will be developed with the companies until the end of April.
In addition, the companies had the opportunity to contribute their ideas and lessons learned in this first phase and showed their interests for the second phase of the CICLO project.
