Ihobe has launched an interactive viewer of Nature-Based Solutions (NBS) for climate adaptation, implemented in the Basque Country. NAIDER was responsible for designing and developing the viewer. This web tool allows users to visualise structured information on NBS practices available in Basque municipalities and is configured to be continuously updated with new interventions.
Following the approval of the Basque Climate Change Strategy, KLIMA 2050, in 2015, NBS were established in the Basque Country as a coordinated, financed public policy. As part of the subsequent deployment policy, IHOBE has developed various instruments and services to assist different stakeholders and public administrations in integrating NBS within their respective areas of expertise. In anticipation of an increase in NBS interventions, a visual web tool is being developed.
