NAIDER becomes an external auditor for EU Green Bonds after being validated by the European Securities and Markets Authority (ESMA).
As an external assessor, our role is to verify that issuers of these bonds comply with the European taxonomy, thereby protecting investors from greenwashing. Green bonds are debt instruments designed to finance projects with a positive environmental impact, such as renewable energy, energy efficiency and sustainable transport.
Corporations, financial institutions, governments and other entities can issue these bonds to attract responsible investment and advance their sustainability goals. The proceeds must be invested in activities that fall within the EU taxonomy, with some flexibility.
