Over the next three years, the Provincial Council of Bizkaia (DFB) will count on Naider’s technical assistance for the monitoring of its energy and climate plans, as well as for the implementation of the Basque legislation on energy transition and climate change.
The main objective of this service is to support the General Directorate of the Environment of the DFB in the definition, adaptation, monitoring and evaluation of the necessary actions to integrate the Basque laws on energy transition and climate change in the provincial administration.
The tasks to be carried out by Naider include assisting in the monitoring of the Foral Energy Action Plan, monitoring the DFB’s plans and strategies for energy transition and climate change, assisting in the organisation of meetings of the climate and energy governance bodies and assisting in the fulfilment of the obligations deriving from Law 1/2024, of 8 February, for the incorporation of the climate and energy transition perspective.
